Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This page explains how Liquid IT handles information collected through our website and IT services. We keep it straightforward because that's how we run our business — prevention first, no surprises.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you:

  • Fill out a contact, assessment, or consultation form on our website
  • Book a consultation through our scheduling tool
  • Subscribe to communications, request a quote, or email us directly
  • Engage Liquid IT for managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, or related services

This typically includes your name, business name, email address, phone number, and any details you share about your IT environment or project.

2. Client Data and Protected Health Information

This Privacy Policy covers information collected through our website and general business operations. It does not govern data we process on behalf of clients under a service agreement.

Where Liquid IT handles Protected Health Information (PHI) for healthcare clients, that information is governed by the Business Associate Agreement (BAA) between Liquid IT and the client and by applicable HIPAA regulations — not by this policy. Client systems and data we manage under contract are governed by that contract and our client agreements.

3. Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website, we automatically collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring URL. We use this to operate the site, measure performance, and improve the experience.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and deliver requested services
  • Send service-related communications, proposals, and project updates
  • Improve our website, services, and customer experience
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse

5. Cookies, Analytics & Your Choices

We use cookies and similar technologies to run this site, measure traffic, and understand which content is useful. On your first visit you'll see a cookie banner where you can Accept All, Reject All, or Manage each category (Strictly Necessary, Analytics, Marketing). You can change your choice at any time using the link in the footer.

Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor the GPC browser signal as a valid opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. If your browser sends GPC, we automatically treat you as opted out of marketing cookies and cross-context behavioral advertising vendors.

6. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party tools to operate this site and deliver our services, including:

  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymized traffic and engagement measurement (loaded only with Analytics consent).
  • Reb2B — business visitor identification used for advertising measurement and outreach (loaded only with Marketing consent).
  • Microsoft Bookings — consultation scheduling.
  • Form / CRM platforms — to receive and route contact and assessment submissions.

These vendors only receive the information needed to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with: (a) employees and contractors who need it to deliver our services, (b) the third-party service providers described above, and (c) law enforcement or regulators when required by law. Use of the Reb2B vendor may qualify as "sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising" under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA); you can opt out at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer or by rejecting Marketing cookies.

8. Data Security & Breach Notification

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we apply the same prevention-first practices we use for our clients to our own systems. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and applicable regulators consistent with the requirements of applicable law.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. In practice:

  • Inquiry and form data from prospects who do not become clients is retained for up to 24 months, then deleted, unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Client records are retained for the duration of the service relationship and for a reasonable period afterward to meet contractual, tax, and legal obligations.
  • Website analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of our analytics tools.

We keep information longer only where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Know / Access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you.
  • Right to Delete — request that we delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing — direct us not to "sell" or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer, reject Marketing cookies, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would require this right, but you may still submit a request.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have all the rights above. The categories of personal information we collect are: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), commercial information (services inquired about), internet or network activity (pages viewed, referrer), geolocation (approximate, from IP), professional or employment information (business name, role), and inferences drawn from the above (e.g., service interest).

Other U.S. states. If you are a resident of another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others), we extend the core rights above — access, correction, deletion, and opt-out of targeted advertising — to you where required by your state's law.

How to exercise your rights. Email hello@liquidit.net or call (480) 800-3549. We'll verify your request by matching identifying information you provide against our records, and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 45 days). You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may still verify your identity directly.

11. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our website after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.

13. Where We Operate

Liquid IT is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and our website and services are intended for businesses and individuals located in the United States. We do not target or knowingly offer our services to residents of the European Union or United Kingdom, and this policy does not address rights under the GDPR or UK data protection law.
